The Decision Time
Decisions are defined as the choice you made after thinking
about some possibilities. But in real life scenario this does not work. From my
experience , I can say that the final year is the most difficult part to take decisions. In the
starting of Btech, I do not have a small fraction of worries. Down the lane 3
years, some thinking and bold steps need to be done. Initially I planned out for MBA . I tried to
slog for 3 months but it was not enough to bell the CAT( Common Admission
Test). I also landed with a job from
Shapoorji Pallonji Construction Limited
between these months. So coming to the
decision part , you have to maintain your focus on your goals. Then the 7th semester came to an end. People were quite sure about the world
will end in this winter. But Mayans went wrong!..In the month of January , I
had two exams called XAT( Xaviers admission test) and the Gate( graduate
aptitude in technical engineering).
But I do not get substantial result in these tests. Soon i understood that the thing I am missing
the most part is FOCUS. The main point of elucidating my final year life is to make you think for
your FOCUS. Do not ever sway by others people’s thinking and saying. The reason
of telling this is that you don’t know
where the lives of the others’ one going to end. One thing you must remember
that the game( game: your competition, your goal, your savoring point) had not
finished as long as you won. Try to focus the your ambitions or goals on a
paper. You can keep the paper close to you and have a look at 2-3 times a day.
Doing this will propel you towards it with more energy and passion. Your life is worth of writing, do it and feel
the difference. Now hardly a month is
there. Every other day , there is
parting party or function. Farewell will be a euphemism for that. Then my alma
mater aka NIT Rourkela will be time of past. People will transform from t-shirts
to suits. But the place will be remembered, late night antics will be cherished.
We always forget small joys and always vies for the greater happiness. But Life’s simplest joys are the greatest
pleasures.
