Typical course of a Project
As I am working in the public sector organisation, I came to handle a lot of government funded projects. As the work is awarded by tender process or via nomination basis, a lot of tussle has to be carried out. First we have to understand the basic requirement of project. In order to prepare the financial proposal, the quantum of work needs to be accessed first. In some project, a first hand site visit is very much necessary. Based on the site visit, we can prepare the schedule of items. At the last we prepare the financial proposal. After that the proposal is sent to the Delhi office for approval. Normally the proposal do not change much. Delhi office will modify something based on their recommendations. After that we will make it to a spiral binding copy and submit to the client for further process. In some cases, client will ask to make a presentation on the above proposal.
