POST NIT LIFE

There is a lot of fuss regarding people towards the changing shift from students to professional life. The feeling may be same among all of them. My feeling is quite same to all my fellow friends. The job world comes with its own set of rules, ethics, standards and most importantly the responsibility. The amount of responsibility will also have an impact on working pattern. The whole responsible comes with the behest of your team leader/manager/senior ( They have different terminology according to their field of working).   The other phenomena is to maintain between personal and professional life. All of us accept the fact that we cannot involve socially as we are doing in our college days. Some attribute it to their work pressure, new responsibility . But in my opinion it is a thing of individuality. We can keep the same trend by going through effective communication. Managing this part will truly evolve a new persona among ourselves.    The shift of non-routine to routine life is

Eulogy For Sharma

In my life, I have been in touch with three Sharmas. The first type of Sharma breed is a renowned writer. I have heard about him in the last 2 or 3 years. But I have not given a thought to read any of his books. Recently, I bought a set of books written by him. All I can say is that his book is a panacea in the times of turmoil. He has the ability to change you by his opinions and thoughts. I have never met this writer. But I am in kind of spiritually overwhelmed by his feelings and beliefs. I should be writing a thank you note for this brilliant person. As I want to quote some of his finest lines here, “some books are to be chewed and some are to be swallowed”. His books come to the latter criteria.          The second Sharma is big and fat boy. He has a peculiar quality to nag you in every time. When you will meet him, you will think that he is a very shy fellow. But in due course of time, your opinions will be changed to be a 360 degree. Nevertheless, he is a man of his wor

The girl I called Chameli

Girls are the world’s greatest creations. Once upon a time Somebody (like of Baba Ranchod das Chancad) says that The world starts and ends with the feminine sections. There was a girl, we call her chameli, lived in a hinterland . The land area boasts of its splendid view near the river. She was very shy during her teen age. She hardly talked to the boys . Even, I was a bit afraid to talk to her. Her countenance some time made me nervous. As time flew gradually , we became the alumni of our school. After that we parted our ways.  I decided to join engineering. I will always thank Google because it helped me to start my friendship with her. As days past, I came to know about a lot characteristics of chameli.  She had very few friends because she believes that a few good friends are better than a pool of just friends. She never opened her feelings to others. She likes to keep herself occupied with her thoughts. You have to poke some thirty-forty times to get something out. Coming to th

The Decision Time

Image
Decisions are defined as the choice you made after thinking about some possibilities. But in real life scenario this does not work. From my experience , I can say that the final year is the most  difficult part to take decisions. In the starting of Btech, I do not have a small fraction of worries. Down the lane 3 years, some thinking and bold steps need to be done.  Initially I planned out for MBA . I tried to slog for 3 months but it was not enough to bell the CAT( Common Admission Test).  I also landed with a job from Shapoorji Pallonji  Construction Limited between these months.  So coming to the decision part , you have to maintain your focus on your goals. Then  the 7 th semester came to an  end. People were quite sure about the world will end in this winter. But Mayans went wrong!..In the month of January , I had two exams called XAT( Xaviers admission test) and the Gate( graduate aptitude in technical engineering). But I do not get substantial result in these tests.  Soo

Life in Germany, A new beginning

Image
Hello everyone. This will be the first post of mine in Germany. My journey starts here with a word called “late”.  My flight was 10 hour late. My luggage also came after one day. But it feels good to come from 45 degree Celsius to 10 degree Celsius.  Thanks to the people i have a nice room in Aachen. I met Dr. Klaus on the very first day of my arrival.  He was very nice .  First few days in Aachen were a little hard for me. But later i get accustomed to it with the help from hemant, shikhar and Jasmin. The weather is now quite soothing for me. I went to Elisenbrunnen on Saturday evening and got mesmerised by the performance going there.  People of different age categories were doing salsa there. The major difference between Europe and Asia is about the food habits. Coming to the German foods i liked the typical German food here(Though it has very less spices!!).  This new journey of my life has made me a cook   . I loved cooking here and everyday i try something different in kitch
