Typical course of a Project

As I am working in the public sector organisation, I came to handle a lot of government funded projects. As the work is awarded by tender process or via nomination basis, a lot of tussle has to be carried out. First we have to understand the basic requirement of project. In order to prepare the financial proposal, the quantum of work needs to be accessed first. In some project, a first hand site visit is very much necessary. Based on the site visit, we can prepare the schedule of items. At the last we prepare the financial proposal. After that the proposal is sent to the Delhi office for approval. Normally the proposal do not change much. Delhi office will modify something based on their recommendations. 
After that we will make it to a spiral binding copy and submit to the client for further process. In some cases, client will ask to make a presentation on the above proposal. So we ( the consultant) will present our work before a committe. The committe generally consists of various people of different department of the client. They will ask questions regarding our methodology, work plan and approach.
Most of the time, the period of completion of the work is crucial. We have to stick to a deadline which will complete the work in a small frame of time. At the end, the financial proposal is the crux of the proposal.
If the work is got through competitive tendering process, then the QCBS approach will follow the course and if it is the other case ( nomination basis) ,we have to haggle it for negotiation. government format will take a lot of time for approval of the project. In the big project, the approval is got through recommendation of Honourable Chief Minister. 
Today I heard a great saying from my sir. His words were," Most people will like to do service rather than working " So it sums up that there is a lack of quality working people in our state. The state  will definitely benefit with easier and smooth flow of process.

The Decision Time

Decisions are defined as the choice you made after thinking about some possibilities. But in real life scenario this does not work. From my experience , I can say that the final year is the most  difficult part to take decisions. In the starting of Btech, I do not have a small fraction of worries. Down the lane 3 years, some thinking and bold steps need to be done.  Initially I planned out for MBA . I tried to slog for 3 months but it was not enough to bell the CAT( Common Admission Test).  I also landed with a job from Shapoorji Pallonji  Construction Limited between these months.  So coming to the decision part , you have to maintain your focus on your goals. Then  the 7 th semester came to an  end. People were quite sure about the world will end in this winter. But Mayans went wrong!..In the month of January , I had two exams called XAT( Xaviers admission test) and the Gate( graduate aptitude in technical engineering).
